How it works
Fill the bottle from any clear freshwater source, press the plunger down, and drink. Filtration takes about ten seconds — no batteries, no pumping, no chemical tablets.
Replacing the cartridge
The cartridge is rated for about 2,500 uses. When the flow slows down, swap in a new one — it takes seconds.
What it doesn't filter
The Rapid Press is built for freshwater — rivers, lakes and streams. It does not filter saltwater or heavily contaminated industrial water. When in doubt, fill from the clearest, fastest-moving water available.

Is it safe for kids?
Yes — the press mechanism is simple enough that kids can use it, and it requires no chemicals or batteries. Adult supervision is still recommended with any water treatment method.
Does it affect flow or taste?
Activated carbon removes chlorine, bad taste and odor, so water tastes fresh. Flow stays fast — about ten seconds to drink — until the cartridge nears the end of its life.
